Broken Hill 2026  & Beyond (Camerons Corner)

Monday 7^th to Sunday 17^th October 2026  & more!

Hi to all Victorian RV members

We hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you all a very happy new year.

We know we are getting in early with this one. As you will see once you have read the following information, this year’s AGM is in Broken Hill. This could be a great opportunity for couple of weeks get away or 4-6 week get away depending on your available time.

The 2026 RV AGM in Broken Hill, NSW starts 12^th October and goes through to 17^th October.

We will be leading a Tag-Along to the AGM leaving on the 7^th October 2026 and taking 5 nights to arrive at the AGM site in Broken Hill. As there is NO early access to the AGM camping grounds in Broken Hill until the 12^th, we will be staying approx. 100 km out of town. This means only a short drive in on the Monday morning.

Depending on total numbers that wish to come along on this journey of a lifetime, we are planning 4 free camps, and one caravan park stay on the way up.

7^th Oct Lexton Club free camp

8^th Wedderburn Hard Hill Tourist reserve

9^th Apex River beach Holiday Park, Mildura

11^th Pooncarie Free camp

12^th to 17^th Broken hill Regional Event centre & Racecourse

Now this is where it gets interesting. Once rally is over there are a few options:

1. Make your own way home
2. Continue your travels seeing this fantastic country OR
3. Come with Su and I up to Tibooburra for a couple of nights, with a day trip up to Camerons Corner for lunch (Leaving vans in caravan park) and to touch the 3-state marker SA. QLD and NSW

There are a Couple of RV members planning to do this section then head home for Tibooburra.

But there’s more:

Su and I will be taking the longer way home and be on the road for the next 3 – 4 weeks (that part of trip is still to be finalized. Again, it depends on number of vans wishing to join us).

We have attached the proposed schedule for your thoughts. The dates prior to AGM are pretty set but after AGM they are still to be finalized. This is just to get your thought processes going and for you to allocate time.

If you could please advise ASAP:

• If you are coming along on Tag-Along to AGM
• If you wish to follow to Cameron Corner (we will probably need to book sites in Tibooburra soon)
• If you plan on coming on part or all of the after trip.
