Tag a long to the Broken Hill 2026 National Rally

12^th to 18^th October 2026

Mike and Sue from Tasmania are organising a tag-a-long to the National Rally in Broken Hill this October.

There are no fixed stops or dates at this stage except that we will depart Geelong in late September and head in a westerly direction into South Australia. At some stage we will be turning north, zig zaging and exploring as we go, before we head east towards Broken Hill. Along the way we will be staying at a variety of places such as free camps, donation stops and a couple of caravan parks.

We intend to be close to Broken Hill on the Sunday night so we can get to the rally site by about lunch time on Monday the 12^{th October}

A few Tasmanians will be making the trip with us, but anyone from anywhere is most welcome to join us at any stage.

Our members who attended Longford will now know the fun you have and all the great people you meet at these national events, and for those who couldn’t make it, now is your chance.

As we all know it is very prudent to book your spot on the Spirit well in advance, even 11 months out just to make sure. Yes, the new Spirits are due to come on line about that time of year but we all know the troubles they have had and at this stage I wouldn’t be betting my house on an exact date. Starting some plans now is not a bad idea.
