Note that there will not be any early access to the Rally site due the location prior to Monday at 8.00am! You can stay at other locations around Broken Hill and move into the site on the Monday.
A few things to consider…….
Denim and Diamonds is the dress theme for Saturday night.
The Hall is just across the racecourse around 200-300metres from our camping area.
Don’t forget to bring a raffle gift for Saturday night, please bring along something that you would like to win yourself.
We will be donating knee rugs to local nursing homes so get knitting (10 inch x 10 inch, 50 to 55 stitches depending on tension)
Broken Hill runs on SA time so be sure to change your clocks, unless you are coming from South Australia!

9:30 am City Walking Tour $10 Pre-booked on the Registration Form
NOTE! Tour No.1 is fully booked but we have arranged another group tour running at the same time! So book now, this is one of the most popular options!
Location: Starts and finishes at Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre
Corner Blende and Bromide Streets.

Information: The Broken Hill Heritage Walk Tour is a two hour volunteer guided tour through Broken Hill’s CBD, taking visitors past many outstanding heritage buildings. Australia’s First Heritage Listed City has always been associated with silver, lead and zinc mining. Many of the streets are named after metals, minerals and compounds, or after mine managers, leading citizens and civic leaders.

Information: The Sulphide Street Railway & Historical Museum Complex houses the Silverton Tramway Company locomotives & memorabilia in the original1905 magnificent station building and grounds.
The Broken Hill Migrant Heritage Museum, Hospital Museum, Ron Carter Transport Pavilion and the Tess Alfonsi Mineral Collection are all onsite.

10.00am Day Dream Mine Tours – $31 Entry. Book on Registration with 2 sessions available. Nearly fully booked so be quick!
Location: Day Dream Mine Located off the Silverton Road, approx 28kms from Broken Hill
Information: There are 2 sessions limited to 20 people per session – times for each session 10.00am to 11.15am and 10.30am to 11.45am Cost is $31 per person. Note the mine tour has uneven walkways and steps so you should have reasonable mobility. Morning tea of scones and tea or coffee is offered after the tour for $8.50, book and pay for this option ion arrival at the mine

2.00pm Bocce at the Napredak Community Club Pre-book on the registration form just $2 per player
Location: Napredak Community Club 305 Piper St, Broken Hill NSW 2880
Enjoy an afternoon of Bocce on dedicated lanes at this licensed club. We will form into teams of 3 over 4 courts for 2 sessions. All for $2 per person! Get together with your friends to form a team or make new friends playing! If you would prefer to come and watch instead then the club is licensed and you can cheer along your team!

Information: Think Priscilla, Queen of the desert. Meet Broken Hill’s famous Drag Queen, Shelita Buffet and friend, here to host a different type of pantry bingo in the hall. Come together for a night of entertainment, fun and laughter, with spatterings of our popular pantry bingo (pantry prizes will be supplied). The cost will be $20 per head to be paid on the night. Please book if you want it to go ahead, we need at least one hundred people. A night not to miss!!
Friday 16th October
8.30am Drive to Menindee Lakes with guided self drive tour. No charge but must pre-book on registration. Limit of 40 persons.
Location: Menindee is approx 115kms from our camp site.
Information: This is a guided tour using your own vehicle and following the leader. At Menindee there is the old township with historic buildings and lots of history, The lake offers an abundance of birdlife and some great places for that picnic you took with you! 10.30am Silverton guided Self Drive Tour. No charge but must pre-book so we can advise the pub of numbers
Location: Silverton is approx 25kms from our camp site.
Information: This is a guided tour using your own vehicle and following the leader. Silverton is the home of Mad Max! Saturday17th October
9.30am Our National Meeting
Location: In the Hall.
Information: Please do try to come along to the Annual Meeting. It’s our opportunity to tell you what’s happening in the group and your opportunity to give us constructive feedback, get involved more or simply tell us what you want from the group.
4:30 pm Happy Hour– Last chance to drop off your prizes for the raffle as it’s drawn tonight!
6.30pm Gala Dinner Pre-book on registration $45 and remember to add any dietary requirements on the registration form when booking

Information: The highlight of the week, our Gala Dinner will be held onsite in the hall. Two courses, dinner & dessert with Music from our talented members and the draw for our raffle. The theme is Denim & Diamonds, real or fake doesn’t matter, just glam up for the night! You will need to bring your own cutlery only and it’s BYO so drinks and glasses as well.
Sunday 18th October
8.00-10.00am Bacon and Egg roll breakfast.
Location: In the Centre Ring (unless the weather is bad)
Information: The Rotary Club will be providing our breakfast! $12 per person. Pre-booked on registration
