A Last Hurrah Rally

Gowrie Park Wilderness Village – SOLD

Shelly and family have confirmed Gowrie Park Wilderness Village has been sold and this will be the FINAL chance we have to say farewell before they depart the following week. Yes, after many, many months of negotiating and waiting, it has finally been sold.

Shelly and Family have been looking after us for a lot of years so if you have enjoyed how they have looked after us, please come along and tell them.

Come for one or two nights. Or more, before and/or after these dates if you wish.

MEALS;

The usual format for our weekends will be adhered to including a communal BYO BBQ on Friday night, so please bring your own prawns, chops, burgers, snags, steaks, salad, nibbles and drinks.

Saturday night will feature a HUGE two course roast dinner cooked by master-meal-maker, Shelly. If you have been to one of these weekends here previously you will know how awesome their meals are, if not the pleasure awaits you. Any special food requirements are to be advised when booking. The cost of the meal is about $32 per person and drinks are BYO.

NOTE, the venue has some drinks available for purchase from their licensed outlet.

Other activities in the area include motorcycle touring, bushwalking, cave tours, mountain biking, kayaking and Sheffield’s bakeries.

ACCOMMODATION;

Both powered and unpowered van sites are available as well as camping sites, the bunkhouse rooms and some cabins if you aren’t bringing your RV.

BOOKING;

To book your accommodation and Saturday night meal YOU MUST RING SHELLY AT THE VILLAGE ON 03 6491 1385 and let her know you are a member of the Ulysses Group. The venue is booked for us BUT if you try to book on-line you will see they are booked out, that is why you must ring for your booking.
