Free camping at St Marys Camp Ground – Harefield Rd St Marys

The St Marys pacing Club will be hosting their only race meeting for the year on Thursday the 1^st of January.

You might not be into horse racing at all, but come for the experience. It’s a real country horse race day and something different where 20 or 30 caravaners etc normally attend the event.

Bookmakers will be available if you are feeling lucky and see a good looking nag. The bar will be open, there will be a kiosk and various food venues, raffles, ‘fashion on the field’ competitions, live music, lucky program draw. As well as the major raffle, a golf hole in one golf completion is on so bring a few clubs.

The camp grounds are in good order, have a toilet block with $2 hot showers and a dump point.

On Wednesday night the Golf Club Bar will be open and they will have light snack foods and finger foods available.  The St Marys hotel will also be open for nightly meals on both nights.
