RALLY AFTER THE RALLY (at Ross)<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We have organised a get together for anyone who is still in Tassie before they farewell our island home and head back across the water homeward bound.<\/p>\n

We have booked out the <\/span>Ross Community Sports Club (4-10 Park Street Ross) for three nights and the price is $20 per site, per night;<\/p>\n

No power or water connections are available, so self contained vehicles only. No tents.<\/p>\n

The Club is ours to use and it has a full lounge room with heaters available and a fully stocked kitchen. There is also a gas BBQ for our use and the toilet block will remain open for us, but there are no showers.<\/p>\n

Thursday 23<\/b><\/u>rd<\/b><\/u><\/sup> October<\/b><\/u> \u2013 arrive and explore.<\/p>\n

Friday 24<\/b><\/u>th <\/b><\/u><\/sup>October<\/b><\/u> A local social club will be at the club from 1pm to 4pm for their weekly board games afternoon. We are welcome to join in if we want for a gold coin donation, tea and coffee are available and the bar will be open.<\/p>\n

Saturday 25<\/b><\/u>th<\/b><\/u><\/sup> <\/u>October<\/b><\/u> \u2013 A table has been booked at the local Man \u2018o\u2019 Ross hotel for our night time meal.<\/p>\n

Ross has the third oldest bridge in Australia which was completed in 1836 and is one of Australia\u2019s finest historical monuments. It has 186 carvings on the arches depicting Celtic symbols, flora, fauna, and notable personalities of the day.<\/p>\n

Local Tas members<\/b> who couldn\u2019t get to Longford are most welcome to join in for our mini farewell rally too.<\/p>\n

Come for one, two or three nights, it\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll ask for numbers later, but keep it in mind and check out the very historic village of Ross;<\/p>\n
