SUMMARY:Tas - Autumn Rally at Eugenana
DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 Autumn Rally will be at The Lakeside Tourist Caravan Park Eugenana. \n76 Lakeside Rd Eugenana \nThe park is in a very picturesque area of the North West Coast near Latrobe / Devonport and is on the site of an old quarry. It has a laid back country atmosphere and has a great bush walk track along an old railway bed heading towards Devonport and is also next door to the Tasmanian Arboretum which is well worth a look. \nThere are also great walks along river to spot a few platypus families. \nOur dates are Thursday 21st\, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May but as always\, come earlier and/or stay later if you wish. \nWe have some sites put aside for us at the park\, so to reserve yours just ring 6427 2343 and tell them you are with the Ulysses RV Group and they will put us all close together. \nOn the Friday night at Prickly Mo the nearby vineyard\, there will be a night of live music\, food and drinks. \nIt is Bluesy foot-stomping style music and the vineyard is only 300 metres away so it’s easy walking. The winery opens at 12 noon that day\, serving fruit and cheese platters and the music will start about 6.30pm\, finishing about 9.30pm. \nA cover charge will be $5 which is to support the musician and a yummy Thai food truck will also be on site and starts cooking about 530pm. \nThe cellar door shed a real pearl\, being an old shearing shed converted into a real funky venue with rustic bush style interior. \nWe have some reserved seats inside the shed but you must let me know by the 13th May if you are coming so we can let them know how many to keep space for. DESCRIPTION:Our Winter Rally will celebrate the winter solstice\, which is Sunday 21st June 2026 \nWe are right on the waterfront at the Swansea Holiday Park\, 2 Bridge St Swansea. \nThe dates are overnight Friday 19th Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June. \nSites are $40 per night and include power and water. No un-powered sites are available. \nIf you like\, cabins are available as well. \nYou will need to ring and make your own booking at the park and make sure you say you are with the Ulysses RV Group so they can keep us in the one area. SUMMARY:TAS - Tag-a-long to the 2026 National Rally Broken Hill
DESCRIPTION: Tag a long to the Broken Hill 2026 National Rally \n12th to 18th October 2026 \nMike will be organising a tagalong to Broken Hill for any Tas members who would like to join in. Heading off from somewhere near Geelong approx 7th of October and zig zag our way to Broken Hill staying along the way at a range of predetermined stops of van parks\, free camps and donation stops. \nThe rally is being held at the Broken Hill show ground which is about 2.5km out of town. Sites at the ground are $40 per night including power and water. The programme and all rally activities are being worked on as we speak and will be on the group’s website soon. \nOur members who attended Longford will now know the fun you have and all the great people you meet at these national events\, and for those who couldn’t make it\, now is your chance. \nAs we all know it is very prudent to book your spot on the Spirit well in advance\, even 11 months out just to make sure. Yes\, the new Spirits are due to come on line about that time of year but we all know the troubles they have had and at this stage I wouldn’t be betting my house on an exact date. Starting some plans now is not a bad idea. \nFirstly\, I’d like to have an idea of how many may be joining us\, so please let me know soon if you are at all interested in this trip.
